THESIS
The last university architectural challenge (which mixes passion with fear). The work to be carried out was on a plot located in an important corner of the capital city “Caracas”. This corner has the particularity of being between avenues with different rhythms: one fast and vehicular, the other slow and pedestrian (boulevard). Based on these variables, the proposal was the construction of a building whose commercial use would be located on the first floors to allocate the highest floors to offices. The volume respects the heights of the environment to be able to spatially close the block and thus be able to shape the corner. Inside the building of the building a central square was created, receding to the elevation (-9.00 meters), taking care that it received natural light and ventilation. This architectural design makes the visitor have an interesting and dynamic tour. The architecture of the building is sober but current, dotted with movements and details that make it stand out, such as the balconies, cornices, external stairs, among others. After sweating with passion and swallowing with fear, I was compensated by the qualifying jury.
